Anna Johnston - St Leonards

We have been using Keyboard Crazy since September. So far we have mainly used the lower case and phonic boards, but will be using the upper case board very soon.

The children thoroughly enjoy using it just to match the letters independently/in small groups and play simple games with adult support. Some children certainly appear to be more confident in using the keyboard and are beginning to have an awareness to the position of some of the letters.

The assessment activities that we carried out towards the end of the Autumn term prove to be interesting showing a very large range in ability and times within the class. It is a good resource not only for developing keyboard skills but also phonic skills.

We have received the email regarding new lesson plans on the web site, which I intend to use in the next few weeks. We haven't had any problems when using the keyboard crazy activities.
